Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mabel (the “Service”). By signing up or installing the app on Shopify you agree to them.

The service

Mabel is an AI-powered customer support assistant for Shopify merchants. It reads support tickets routed to your Mabel inbox, drafts replies, and, within the limits you configure, executes actions such as issuing refunds or updating shipping addresses. Outputs are probabilistic; you are responsible for reviewing them before they reach your customers unless you explicitly enable Autonomous mode.

Accounts and access

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the Shopify store you connect. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and is not prorated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days’ notice.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to send spam, harass customers, misrepresent your business, violate Shopify’s Partner Program Agreement, or attempt to reverse-engineer our systems. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your data

You retain all rights to the data you bring into the Service (your orders, customer records, ticket content). You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate the Service on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Warranty and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You may terminate at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for material breach of these terms. On termination you can export your data for 30 days before it is deleted.

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
